After 32 years in the industry Mike Lacagnina founded AxCM Solutions, LLC with the goal to bring new and disruptive technologies to a broad cross section of industries. Mike wanted the company to focus on innovative technology and partnerships with the belief that integration consulting services was a key element to any new innovations adoption. This unique business strategy evolved from nearly 30 years at Xerox Corporation where Mike held several mid-level management positions ranging from engineering to worldwide product program management, strategy, marketing, and deployment functions.
Mike started at Xerox as an engineer on DocuTech; the world’s first truly digital printer. He later moved into technical management roles, ultimately driving key partnership on behalf of Xerox; companies like Adobe Systems, Xrite, and Pantone just to name a few. As Director of FreeFlow Imaging Technology he set the research and technology priorities in color management and image quality culminating in Xerox’s FreeFlow print server becoming the premiere RIP for their iGen production product family. A common thread through his tenure at Xerox was customer focus. Mike would tell his engineers “We need to get out of the lab; we need to meet our customer, work their problems, and from there new opportunities and innovation will flow”. Mike has worked with many of the top print services providers to meet their productivity and quality goals. AxCM Solutions will continue this mission for print and other technology driven industries. |
